Late of Waterford Crystal and Waterford Fire Brigade.

Former hurler with Mount Sion, Waterford and Munster.

Predeceased by his wife Margaret, son Stevie, daughter Sinéad, sister Kathleen and brother-in-law Jossie.

Sadly missed by his loving partner Irene (Jones), son Paul, daughter Lorraine, daughter-in-law Olga, grandchildren, Samantha, Stephen and Robbie, brother Jim, sisters Josie and Mary, brothers-in-law Frankie, Dick and Seánie, sisters-in-law Marie and Theresa, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gabriel and O’Donovan Funeral Home, Kinsale, Co. Cork (P17 WC61) on Sunday (3rd May) from 5:00pm followed by prayers at 6:00pm. (Parking is available in Supervalu Car Park by kind permission – max 2 hours).

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford (X91 D300) on Monday (4th May) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 8:00pm.

Stephen’s funeral cortege will walk from the Bank on Fr. Gregory Way for Requiem Mass on arrival in St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan on Tuesday (5th May) at 10:00 am followed by burial in St. Killian’s Cemetery, Ferrybank.

From start to finish, the help and support you all gave us was beyond limits. Our mother looked so peaceful and beautiful. Our minds were put to rest when we saw how lovely and peaceful she looked on her final journey. It is a credit to a wonderful team.
