Formerly of Port of Waterford, Waterford Harbour Commissioners and The Thomas Francis Meagher Fife and Drum Band.

Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, father Martin, sister Lily and his infant brother Patrick.

Sadly, missed by his brothers Martin, Thomas, sister Mai, brothers-in-law Michael and Frank, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street on (Friday24th) from 7pm to 8:30pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 8pm.

Johns’ funeral cortege will walk from his residence (51 Closegate, Castle Street) on Saturday 25th January for Requiem Mass on arrival to St. John’s Church, Parnell Street, Waterford at 11:00am, followed by burial in St. Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballinaneeshagh, Waterford.

Family Flowers only please, donations if desired to charity of your choice.

    From start to finish, the help and support you all gave us was beyond limits.  Our mother looked so peaceful and beautiful.  Our minds were put to rest when we saw how lovely and peaceful she looked on her final journey.  It is a credit to a wonderful team.
