The death has occurred of
Maurice Sabour Pickett/ Maurice Pickett
Kill, St Lawrence, Waterford.
Formerly of Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan and East Wall, Dublin.
Maurice passed away peacefully in Waterford University Hospital in the presence of his loving family.
Predeceased by his brother Gerard who recently passed.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Ala, his children Sarah, Ali and Florence and their spouses, Kent and Puneet, his grandchildren Layli, Nura, Zayn and Rian, by his sister Margaret, brothers Oliver, John and Grahame, sisters-in-law Charlotte, Stasia and Geraldine, and brother-in-law, Derek.
A member of the Bahá’í Faith for over 45 years, he devoted his life to the promotion of the oneness of mankind.
A Bahá’í funeral service will be held at Newtown School, Waterford (X91XR20) at 11am on Sunday (March 12th) followed by burial at Kilbarry Cemetery, Waterford.

The family would like to extend particular thanks to the staff at University Hospital Waterford for their care and compassion before and after his passing, particularly the nurses and doctors in the ICU.
