Predeceased by her husband Nicholas, granddaughter Pamela and daughter-in-law Patricia.

Gertie will be sadly missed by her loving family Paul, Susan, Nicky, Anthony, Pat, John, Helen, Maura, Linda and Ann, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Sunday (18th September) from 4 pm to 6 pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 5:30 pm.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 10:30 am in Ballybricken Church followed by burial in Kilbarry Cemetery.

Gertie’s funeral cortége will be walking from Thompson’s Funeral Home on Monday at 10:10 am en route to the church and will be passing her residence en route to the Cemetery at 11.30 am approximately giving neighbours and friends an opportunity to pay their respects.

From start to finish, the help and support you all gave us was beyond limits. Our mother looked so peaceful and beautiful. Our minds were put to rest when we saw how lovely and peaceful she looked on her final journey. It is a credit to a wonderful team.
