Late of Avonmore, Ballyhale, Co. Kilkenny and Target, Waterford.

Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Agnes.

Gerry died peacefully in the Oak Ward, Southeast Palliative Care surrounded by his loving family.

Gerry will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Julie and Aisling, Julie’s partner Naveera, sisters Geraldine and Carmel, brothers Michael, Seamus, Damien, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Saturday (24th August) from 3 pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 5 pm followed by removal to The Carmelite Church, Knocktopher (R95 AP2K) for reception on arrival.

Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12:30 pm following by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

From start to finish, the help and support you all gave us was beyond limits. Our mother looked so peaceful and beautiful. Our minds were put to rest when we saw how lovely and peaceful she looked on her final journey. It is a credit to a wonderful team.
