Predeceased by her loving husband Noel, her parents Edward and Kathleen (Hennessy) and her sister Angela.

Betty will be sadly missed by her daughter Orla, son Karl, grandchildren Dylan and Lia, son-in-law Brendan, daughter-in-law Corinne, brothers Mossie and Teddy, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Monday (15th July) from 7 pm to 8:30 pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 8 pm. Walking from the Funeral Home on Tuesday to Ballybricken Church for Mass on arrival at 12 noon, followed by burial in Butlerstown Cemetery

The family would like to thank the staff, carers and doctors at the Oak Ward in the Palliative Care Unit, Waterford University Hospital for the wonderful care, compassion and kindness given to Betty and her family. It was much appreciated.

From start to finish, the help and support you all gave us was beyond limits. Our mother looked so peaceful and beautiful. Our minds were put to rest when we saw how lovely and peaceful she looked on her final journey. It is a credit to a wonderful team.
