Tuesday 16th January 2024
Formerly of Barrack Street.
Late of Waterford Iron Foundry.
Predeceased by her parents Richard and Mary (Cahill), sister Bridie (Stafford), brother-in-law Mattie (Stafford) and nephew Richard (Stafford)
Eileen will be sadly missed by her loving husband John, daughters Mary, Ruth, Carol and Audrey, her eight grandchildren, her eight great-grandchildren, brother Michael, sons-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Thursday (18th January) from 7 pm to 8:30 pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 8 pm.
Walking from the funeral home on Friday to Ballybricken Church for Mass on arrival at 10:30 am followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner.
Eileen’s funeral cortége will be passing her residence after Mass en route to the Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all the staff in the Farronshoneen Ward and Our Lady’s Ward at Waterford Residential Care Centre (St. Patrick’s Hospital) for the wonderful and loving care they showed to Eileen.
